Dear friends, I must share this with you! Carol Finkle, remarkable, hardworking, and big hearted lady who is founder of Creative Access non-profit organization for 15 years in Philadelphia, PA. This organization was founded to promote the accessibility and equality for deaf people in visual of arts, cultures, communications and music. What inspired her to set this organization, by her two deaf beautiful full grown children Joshua and Abby Finkle. Carol is going to retire in the fall, she wont retire until she accomplish something big, which is one month LONG of Deaf Arts/Culture PaH Festival in October 18-November 20.

I'm lucky to be her intern student for the summer, working as project assistant to Carol Finkle. Please check her website at www.creativeaccess.org for more information.

Ah, I tried to order the pictures in timeline of journey. I wouldnt do it right before I goes to bed next time. ;)

This picture was supposed to be the last one to tell you that I will continue with more pictures- its in toledo, Spain. Wow, its our favorite city- (Nina & me) beautiful! Historic!

The original painting of Mona Lisa, in Louvre Museum, France. THis museum was really HUGE!!! Many tourists came just to see this painting, not any others, maybe few!.. Im serious! Mona Lisa was just like a celebrity on the red carpet, with pictures flashing all the way at her. Or is it him? That is the question. ;) It was really hard to get a good picture, due to the reflection of glass. Smart huh? .. There were people just like bugs swarming in circle trying to get a good picture of this painting. I was one of them, heh!

Eiffel Tower! In case, its in paris ;)~

The Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile, the world's largest triumphal arch, in Paris near Louvre Museum. Nina was a bit grouchy on that day, yet she was wonderful sport, being very patient and walked all day! Her big toe was in pain for no reason, it finally went away after few days.

Guess what it is? It is a cover wall of renovation of a building inside! Awesome, its fun to look at, rather than looking at the wooded board covering up the renovation like in DC, right?

Gare Du Nord, Paris - its famous plaza where people goes to shop! We were supposed to go, time was not permitted. DARN!

We were fooling around, it looked like as if we were standing on it.

Train station in Paris, front of our hotel balcony, probably on Thursday evening- it was packed, that people couldnt move fast, VERY SLOW. We were fascinated, it was like that for almost an hour. POOR those people!

City of Paris...

Canals were also everywhere in Amsterdam.. which helped Amsterdam to be chilly, it was not so hot.. thank god!

Heinekein Brewery Museum, factory of making beers, it definitely smelled like wheat!

trams! We got around easy in Amsterdam, thanks to TRAM!

City in amsterdam! Von Gogh Museum nearby, we went to cafe, on that corner, "Small Talk Coffee House."

In Central of Amsterdam, coffee shops, red light district, train stations, restaurants, bars, stores, etc!

Amsterdam..

Nina finds it fascinating that almost all statues of king/queen or royal people died with dog, lion, cat front of deceased person's feet.. we re wondering why, Nina is gonna research and find out why.. ;)

Sexy asses!! Ooo, its my favorite statues..

Amsterdam, France & Spain!

EDIT*** I removed the pictures from photo publishing, so pictures were removed on this entry, so I can post more pictures in future entries. (thank you so much for your comments! *HUGS*)

Nina & I went to Europe for 2 and half weeks, it may seem short time- yet it was long and we had absolutely wonderful time!

I already missed the journey with Nina. :)

Amsterdam, France and Spain are very beautiful, although it was not what we expected- we think we will want to travel in places where it is so completely different from America or at least in non tourist places, to see the depth of the inner culture and diversity of people.

Funny! Its very cute!

The $10 Answer in Kindergarten

One day at kindergarten the teacher said to the class of 5-year-olds,
"I'll give $10 to the child who can tell me who was the most famous man who ever lived."
A little Irish boy put his hand up and said, "It was St. Patrick."

Wow it have been a very long time since I posted a blog! I also haven't log in Xanga since Dec third week...

As well as you can see that I still exist... Im looking at my blogsite, thinking about changing the design.. Im getting bored w/ my quote, decoration and picture.. Ah, I will do that later..

Highlights since Xmas- I travelled the west caribbean islands w/ family recently, I certainly enjoyed the hot sizzling weather .. hopped in different islands each day... nothing can beat that.. especially the white soft silky sand beach w/ deep blue sea that u actually could see ur body and feet down there.. coral reefs... colorful fishes... good foods... lot of rest.... mindless... stressless.... PRICELESS... I liked Aruba and St. Maarteen islands, best of all in south carribbean islands..

I think I will never stop travelling.. Cuz I just purchased two round trip tickets to Lima, Peru for spring break w/ Nina, Rue and Mich.. Im pretty excited! Its very beautiful and historical there.. full of cultures.. so many places I d like to check out....

I m even thinking about having an internship in other country.. perhaps in Israel or Russia, so I can travel in meanwhile.. during weekends or weekdays depending on the distance..

I quitted my full time job, the one w/ damn good salary.. yes I did... no regrets.. only thing that made me realize after quitting my job... Life is not all about work.. it is way more than that...its not like I didnt know .. I m just saying that.. Im struggling to see that.. because I was workaholic in my last 4 years .. yet I appreciate what I have now.. Im on the "road" to see what my life has to offer and see what I really want to do from now on ... Im graduating in August after internship.. I have decided to take a break from school for a year ... and then go to grad school in next fall.. I m thinking.. wow .. what is life like without a job or school? Its certainly unpredictable.. I shouldn't say, Its very boring! Life shouldnt be bored!! .. I do wonder what will happen in 5 years from now.. Im sure u heard this very common comment by ur friends, families, so forth on.. "Only God knows" I d say.. that may be true but I think only I will know what will happen.. Well lets leave it to that..

As I mentioned that it will be my last semester in Gallaudet University.. those courses that Im taking ...well its friggin so LIGHT... I enjoy the Adobe Photoshop class mostly.. others re not bad.. History 112.. Group conflict: interpersonal, Communication accessibility, & ASL Literature.... I better keep up w/ my motivation in those courses.. cuz Im sure u know what it is like to feel at last semester of ur college years.. ready to graduate and get out! Ah... Its still weird.. Im still thinking..oh im actually graduating this year? .. Mm .. it havent hit me hard yet..

Again, like I said.. Im gonna appreciate each minute of my time at Gallaudet University, there is no such as deaf place in any other place other than Gallaudet. What I enjoy the most are the friends--my close friends, & AST sisters .. I absolutely cherish them.... If it was not for them, my life at gally wouldnt be fun and memoriable as it is..

Im off to cook a dinner! Yum yum! I will try my best to blog more. ;)
